I needed a reliable light weight road cycle for transporting me and around 60 lbs of farm crops 8 miles from waipio to Honoka’a market and was ultra stoked to see Jerry and his son frank offering a fair price on a giant frame that not only fit my body was strong enough for cargo feather light but also boldly proclaimed🦍🦍🦍biking is way sexier than driving🦋🦋🦋these men can see a future for all bike enthusiasts to enjoy🌏🌏🌏please check them out and find your metal horse of choice🐬🐬🐬you will be so happy to meet frank and Jerry my new favorite humble hero’s of the peaceful pedal people movement🌈🌈🌈go mid pacific wheels

I rented a bike here to do Kilauea climb. The bike was prepared appropriately, came with spare tube and pump and spd pedals. For 1 day I paid $ 45 which in my view is a very decent price

Frank is genuine and honest and most importantly a total cycling snob, but in a good way! He went out of his way to help us while looking for a bike making sure it fit our needs, and has also has great rentals plus maintenance...he pretty much does it all actually

Always quick to help, answer questions, and offer service and advice. They have a neat curio case in the front of the store with of all the things they've found on the side of the road while commuting. The collection always draws my eyes to it and always seems to be expanding. As someone solely reliant on my bicycle to get to and from work (and everywhere else), in a city with only one bike shop and nowhere else to go for most supplies, I'm really happy Mid Pacific Wheels exists. I make the trek into Hilo from Mountain View to support a small business rather than ordering online. It feels better and the price difference is very small.
